Things I Enjoyed:
+ The Guest Stars

Things I Didn't Really Enjoy:
+ The word "idjit"

Things That Were Alright:
+ Double Sam and Dean and Bobby

I really enjoyed the snark of the guest stars. I liked that the demon chained up in the basement was smart and snarky. And I loved the guy Bobby sent them to. "Ha.Ha. Is he always this stupid?" ... Yes, guy who probably has a name, he is.

And I sort of enjoyed seeing 'Dean' and 'Sam' murderin' folks all willy nilly. But. Their "we are bad and naughty and slightly evil" faces got a bit old after awhile. I know. Jared and Jensen are human and only have so many facial expressions. But, I have a headache and pms. So there.

I'm not sure if I liked the Doubles oh so casually talking out loud about Sam and Dean's flaws. On the one hand it was a bit amusing. On the other it wasn't that necessary.

I like that Sam found out about Amy. I did not care for his reaction.

I think that it was in character and the whole. "I can't even with you! I'm going to stomp and huff off now. Please secretly follow me and make it better."

However. What I would like to have seen is. Sam punching Dean in the face and saying something along the lines of, 'Stop, fucking lying to me. This isn't going to work if we can't talk.'

Oh! Crowley and the guy at the end (ps. where do I know him from?) I really enjoyed them together. I'd like to see more of them together.

This is the second time Dean's had to kill 'himself', right? Or has there been a third time I'm not remembering?

Aaaaaaaaaaaand. Bobby's an alcoholic? Really? I don't think so. Yes, he does drink but ... didn't he stop for awhile? I'm pretty sure he did. And I don't know if an alcholic can just STOP whenever they feel like it.

Even though there were a handful of things I disliked or that annoyed me, I really sort of enjoyed this episode.

Okay. The main point of this post is ... Why did they name this episode Slash Fiction?

Guy gave Sam and Dean the alias of "Mr. and Mr. Smith.

Of which there will be a handful of "Well, we are newlywed, Sam. Let's go have our honeymoon." fictions written. (and if there isn't, that'll be disappointing)

And then. Double the amount of Winchesters for multiple pairings and such.

Just.

Was the title meant as a free pass for all the stories that will be written.

Did they mean slash in another way?

I don't get it. Though, to be fair. I'm really glad this is the episode that went with that title because I saw the title awhile back and was terrified that it was going to be another breaking the 4th wall episode.

While I completely forgot to watch this episode last night (imagine that *snerk*), I'll go find it because I want to see Sam's reaction....as lame as it sounds.

And I don't know if an alcholic can just STOP whenever they feel like it.

Actually, they can...sort of. When my dad was actively drinking, he stopped cold turkey for about a year. Just like that. Unfortunately, he eventually picked it back up. I don't know if it was a conscious effort to stop, however. It can just be part of the disease.

As much as I try to avoid any and all spoilers, a couple of times I saw Jensen talking about making some scene more "manly" (different words were used but yeah) and I think the scene of Sam walking away in a huff was the one he was referring. How that makes it more "manly" instead of Sam punching Dean in the face and saying 'Screw, you!' I don't know.

Ooh, Okay. Still. I honestly don't know if I'd say that Bobby was an alcoholic. Obviously he is because Show said he was but yeah.

Bobby has never struck me as being an alcoholic on the show, ever. The only time I wondered if he was beginning to hit the bottle too much was at the very beginning of season 4, when Dean is brought back from the dead. But even there, I figured Bobby was using the booze to try and dull his grief.

I dunno, dude. Show makes no kind of sense, even on the "insane troll logic" scene. I give up trying to put a logical spin on it these days.
