I think the talking they did in this episode was really healthy and productive. I thought Dean was going to keep being passive aggressive, but see what happens when you listen and have an adult conversation? Shit gets done.

I've never drank before and I never planned on drinking, but there's a first time for everything and Castiel will be that first time. If Sam falls off the wagon, I can join him.

Hey we can all fall off the wagon, so long as I'm not near that Dean / Castiel show wagon I'm all for it and yeah me either but I think in this case we may have to drink.

But if they do that I like, don't want to just be a confession at the very end of an episode, you know? I'd like to see mid ep, everything looked at all the crap laid out and then they can pick themselves back up piece by piece because there SO is no easy fix for this one. If Kripke does the easy fix I'm going to get bit miffed. Which if they bury it and come back to it it's gonna suck, cause I know it's gotta be painful right now, but damn.

I think they're going to stretch this out for a few eps, show the boys trying to piece themselves back together before they start piecing their relationship back together. Hopefully make them and their brotherhood a lot more solid and less likely to crumble a few episodes later. Because right now they can't get anything done and I'm glad they recognize that and aren't fighting like teenagers again.

Do I want to start with vodka or triple sec...?

I tend to like Jeremy's work so I feel bad about completely writing off the episode...but he also wrote The Rapture, which was one of the worst episodes last season, so I have no hope that this is going to be any better.

I don't know the writer's well enough to know if I like their work or not, I know that I'm biased towards Edlund in general but only because he worked on Angel.

I mean, I know Ben and Sera generally well enough to judge their work, and Kripke too. Jeremy is either really hit or really miss. He did In the Beginning, but he also did The Rapture, so he's like...bipolar with his awesomeness.
