Sam: Nah, I'll just travel hobo style. Well, here I go. This is me leaving. I'm walking away now.

They need to really talk and talk alot but urgh, you know that is not going to happen any time soon. I'm also behind you (re the getting drunk) during the Dean & Castiel show next week.

I think the talking they did in this episode was really healthy and productive. I thought Dean was going to keep being passive aggressive, but see what happens when you listen and have an adult conversation? Shit gets done.

I've never drank before and I never planned on drinking, but there's a first time for everything and Castiel will be that first time. If Sam falls off the wagon, I can join him.

But if they do that I like, don't want to just be a confession at the very end of an episode, you know? I'd like to see mid ep, everything looked at all the crap laid out and then they can pick themselves back up piece by piece because there SO is no easy fix for this one. If Kripke does the easy fix I'm going to get bit miffed. Which if they bury it and come back to it it's gonna suck, cause I know it's gotta be painful right now, but damn.

I think they're going to stretch this out for a few eps, show the boys trying to piece themselves back together before they start piecing their relationship back together. Hopefully make them and their brotherhood a lot more solid and less likely to crumble a few episodes later. Because right now they can't get anything done and I'm glad they recognize that and aren't fighting like teenagers again.

I hope they do that, and I also hope if EVERYTHING gets laid out that EVERYTHING means EVERYTHING (Castiel letting Sam out, Dean breaking the first seal) otherwise it's not going to piece them back together and it's just going to be the same mess over again, IMO.

I'd honestly do the 'drinking game' bit and just only knock it back when Castiel and Dean are on screen together at this point, I haven't totally figured it out. If they're trying to get Dean/Castiel to be SamandDean v. 2.0 next week I am so not buyin' it

The thing I fear is that Castiel will come clean about letting Sam out and make excuses and Dean will just be like "Whatev." I think that would piss me off more than if it didn't come out at all. I think Sam really really needs to bring up the voice mail to sort that all out and then they can hug.

I wish it wasn't Jeremy Carver writing because I feel like there isn't enough knowledge of his preferences (other than that he wants to do the Mary show) to judge how it's going to go. But if they do, I'll just have to have things to throw at the TV.

Oh man. I have that same fear. That Dean will just let it go because he's all buddy-buddy with Castiel and will let it go instead of giving Castiel the epic showdown over it. Also, the thing I'm worried over, is that Dean won't realize that he's been played by Castiel (in s4 and even now I suppose?) just as much as Sam was with Ruby. That bothers me so much right now, because IMO, sure they're angels, but IMO, in reality to me they are no better than demons in this show. Also, yes, about the phone.

Yeah, with Carver it's kind of....out there, in the sense you don't know what you might get. But I suspect there will be booze and yelling and maybe shoe throwing, judging from promos.

Yeah, exactly. And because Kripke is a wimp and doesn't want to upset the fangirls. I don't trust Castiel as far as I can throw him. He's never done anything remotely right and the fact that he thinks God is doing this is pretty much proving to me that it's not because he's never been right about anything.

THIS. SO much ITA. I have NEVER never trusted Castiel. from 4.01 on. He's done nothing remotely right and I pointed out to someone he pretty much contradicted himself earlier in S4 with that whole "I don't follow a human's orders" thing but then turns around (I think this was in 'Great Pumpkin') and says something along the lines of how he was waiting for dean's orders (I don't remember the exact line, but that's implied when he says it) which that's the moment I had it. And, yeah some people might look at it as a good vs. evil thing but right now I totally don't see a line. PLUS the angels wanted the war. THEY WANTED the Apocalypse, I mean I don't know about you but that gives me the *shifty eyes*. They're all in on this crap, and to pretend like they want to stop it is crap because they wanted it to start.

SO WTF...?

If the angels are such douchebags I'd rather pick a demon at least then you know you're going to be screwed with and what you're in for straight up. *shuts up* LOL I mean I could be totally off base but yeah...

I don't know if my folks are going to be too happy with me but *crosses fingers* Though, it really doesn't look like it ends well for us.

Seriously, he's always followed his own decisions and I know people want to pretend that he's Deans BFF FOREVER, but I don't think he's in it for anything other than himself and his own beliefs. When he wouldn't shake Sam's hand, I was DONE. PROFESSIONALLY.

My mom watches the show too, so she shouldn't mind too much... I'm probably just gonna mute all of the Dean/Castiel scenes and play with sock puppets and make up dialogue.

OH MAN I KNOW. That scene still bothers me so much. That was when I think Sam really started to slip because it was like Castiel kicked a puppy dog. DUDE, Sam had so much faith and was just crapped on over it. I don't. I.. man when he didn't shake his hand that got me pissed mainly because it was Castiel snubbing him and meanwhile Sam probably thinks 'I believed in this alot and all they do is yell at me and tell me to stop what I'm doing without giving me a solid reason' See, IMO, if they had wanted to stop Sam they would have talked to him more, tried more, IMO, instead of being like 'stop' they didn't want to stop him and they know it. It's just one big fat excuse to hide behind because if they had, why the hell would he have been let out of the panic room, why wouldn't he have someone with him making sure he didn't do those things. No, IMO, if they wanted to stop it they could've and they know it and that's what bugs me. And I don't ever think God was even 'in the building' so to speak because I really don't think he'd be happy but if he was? Damn. Show!God is just as screwball as Show!Angels, Show!Demons and Show!Lucifer.

And I'm sorry for the long rants. LOL.

Hahahaha, no it's okay, I agree with your rant! It always saddens me how Sam must think that God doesn't agree with him and doesn't love him and I think he put so much faith in things like that and it just breaks my heart. I had a tiny melt down when I found out they were naming one of the episodes "the Rapture" just because I thought they were doing the the actual rapture and I threw a crying fit because God didn't love Sam.

If I was Sam, I wouldn't think God cared about me either. What I really want to know though is where he went when he died back in season 2. YED wanted us to think that he went to hell, or at least make Dean think that, but did he? Or did he go to Heaven?
