re: dressing up

I was going to go as Magenta but then there was talk and there's going to be a group thing next year.

I don't like to put any thought or effort into my costumes because I don't like dressing up, I really really don't and only do so so I don't have people tsking at me or sighing or whatever is they do to people who don't dress up.

The other day my friend and I were at Wal-Mart where I bought my already made costume. 'Black Widow' (as in the spider). The dress is black, long and fake velvet. It was cheapish. And so I bought it. Didn't really pay attention to the size.

Tried it on tonight. Uhm, yeah. Instead of 'Black Widow' I'll either be going as "sausage in black casing" or "fat girl trying to fit into a too tight dress."

So awesome!

and I am all sad. I have to go to a wedding on Halloween and serve Halloween wedding cake to assholes.
I might miss my friend's party.
If I get to go, I'll have to be costumed as a wedding cake server.

The party is this Saturday. On Halloween I shall be sitting at home.

But what is with people getting married on Halloween? That's just ridiculous.
