the death of a fictional character
Feb. 14th, 2013 08:01 pmA bit ago, there was a thing floating around my end of tumblr that said, "Reblog if you've ever cried over the death of a fictional character."
... Which. What? Are there people who haven't?
Have you never not cried over the death of a fictional character? Do you know anyone who hasn't?
Hell, I've cried over characters that I didn't even care about.
I think the worst one (so far) has been Warrick's death (CSI). I cried so so fucking much over his. And whenever they mention him on the show, even if it's just, 'I once had a partner...' I cry.
Every. Single. Time.
So. If you have ever cried because a fictional character died - Who was the worst for you?

Date: 2013-02-15 09:27 pm (UTC)I also cried over a character in Law and Order: SVU even though I don't think she actually died. She was a transgendered teenage girl, and she killed someone who was going to reveal to her boyfriend that she was "actually a guy." (I think it was unintentional; she punched him, he fell, and he hit his head and died of a brain injury.) Anyway, long story short, she was put into a male prison (being over 18) and was severely assaulted. Last scene is them carrying her out on a stretcher. I bawled.
