A bit ago, there was a thing floating around my end of tumblr that said, "Reblog if you've ever cried over the death of a fictional character."

... Which. What? Are there people who haven't?

Have you never not cried over the death of a fictional character? Do you know anyone who hasn't?

Hell, I've cried over characters that I didn't even care about.

I think the worst one (so far) has been Warrick's death (CSI). I cried so so fucking much over his. And whenever they mention him on the show, even if it's just, 'I once had a partner...' I cry.

Every. Single. Time.

So. If you have ever cried because a fictional character died - Who was the worst for you?

I have cried a lot more over fictional things than I have over real (as in, happened to me) things. The worst is when it's a shock. I would say equal intensity: Tara (BtVS), Fred (Angel) and Owen Harper (Torchwood). In all those cases it wasn't just crying, it was two or more days of deep grieving.
