A bit ago, there was a thing floating around my end of tumblr that said, "Reblog if you've ever cried over the death of a fictional character."

... Which. What? Are there people who haven't?

Have you never not cried over the death of a fictional character? Do you know anyone who hasn't?

Hell, I've cried over characters that I didn't even care about.

I think the worst one (so far) has been Warrick's death (CSI). I cried so so fucking much over his. And whenever they mention him on the show, even if it's just, 'I once had a partner...' I cry.

Every. Single. Time.

So. If you have ever cried because a fictional character died - Who was the worst for you?

Oh, so many. Let's do the obvious ones first:

HP: Sirius, Dobby, Dumbledore, Hedwig (fucking HEDWIG, JKR? THAT WAS JUST MEAN), Fred, Tonks and Remus... bawl fest.

Buffy: Joyce, Angel, Buffy, TARAAAAAAAA.

Serenity: Wash. Still not over it.

Merlin: Uther, Arthur, Balinor, Freya (the boat scene with Freya is my all time fave Merlin moment but it still kills me).

I think the worst is cartoons for me. Up.... god, I've still only watched that once because I just can't with the begining. I also always have a quiet weep when Diego 'dies' in Ice Age ("because that's what you do in a herd" TEARING UP THINKING ABOUT IT).

OH GOD ICE AGE. The first time I saw it, I was all wibbly at Diego's death, and then they have to give back the baby and he does the "where's the baby" and I SAW DIEGO AND JUST LOST IT. My brother wasn't sure whether to feel bad for me or laugh.

Glad it's not just me.

I also get a bit emotional every time I watch Monsters Inc when Boo goes back and then Mike puts her door back together and his hands are all splintered. Such a giant sap.

The beginning of Up is one of the worst things ever. It's kind of amazing how they can fit so much into 10 minutes.
