the death of a fictional character
Feb. 14th, 2013 08:01 pmA bit ago, there was a thing floating around my end of tumblr that said, "Reblog if you've ever cried over the death of a fictional character."
... Which. What? Are there people who haven't?
Have you never not cried over the death of a fictional character? Do you know anyone who hasn't?
Hell, I've cried over characters that I didn't even care about.
I think the worst one (so far) has been Warrick's death (CSI). I cried so so fucking much over his. And whenever they mention him on the show, even if it's just, 'I once had a partner...' I cry.
Every. Single. Time.
So. If you have ever cried because a fictional character died - Who was the worst for you?

Date: 2013-02-15 08:16 am (UTC)- Worst film ever for me is Remember Me. I bawl like a moron every damn time. That's my favorite movie though. And I fucking knew the ending before hand and I sit through the entire film sometimes and cry. That film is/ those characters are IMO the epitome if character development done right.
- Never Let Me Go. 5 straight minutes. Gut punch.
- I haven't cried over Breaking Bad but IF Jesse Pinkman dies? I will be BAWLING my head off
- I've read Gwen's death in the comics and if it gets put on film? I will be the only one making ugly crying noises in the theater. I have at my iPad while reading and just gahhhh.
- I think I might have at Looper, Harry Potter, Big Love, OTH. Book wise? I ugly cried at The Fault In Our Stars. Also I don't know where it came from but holy crap, I watched some weird 90's flick with Joaquin Phoenix and lost it when he was screaming he wanted to live on his way to die. I suspect that's why I got weepy during The Master.
