A bit ago, there was a thing floating around my end of tumblr that said, "Reblog if you've ever cried over the death of a fictional character."

... Which. What? Are there people who haven't?

Have you never not cried over the death of a fictional character? Do you know anyone who hasn't?

Hell, I've cried over characters that I didn't even care about.

I think the worst one (so far) has been Warrick's death (CSI). I cried so so fucking much over his. And whenever they mention him on the show, even if it's just, 'I once had a partner...' I cry.

Every. Single. Time.

So. If you have ever cried because a fictional character died - Who was the worst for you?

Jake Chambers from Stephen King's Dark Tower series. And he fucking died twice. The first time wasn't so bad because it was early on and we hadn't gotten to know him, but then he comes back from his parallel universe and I grew up with him and just, his second death made me sob like a baby. Every time I think about it I just want to punch Stephen King in the face. (But gently, he's old.)
