certainthingsSo, I tend to favour the more negative reviews when reading them on my flist because others are so much better at putting into words why something didn't work. But, I still read the positive ones as well because it reminds that, 'Oh, yeah. That was a good part.' or 'Okay, this is why I still watch the show.' I don't comment often because well, I don't really have anything to say other than, 'Right on.' or 'Me too.' And that's just lame. However, I don't read the reviews of those that say, 'I don't read anyone else's reviews because of blah blah blah.' I just think that's a bit silly. I get the whole 'don't harsh my squee, man' but a lot of times the 'negative' reviews have good points, yanno?
Yeah.
Right then. I really and I mean really did not like this episode for a variety of reasons.
- The mocking of Twilight.
Now, I personally think that Twilight is bad and it's not wrong to mock it ... it's just. Do the writers really need to stoop that low? Do they have no original thoughts left? And why now? Why so late to the game?
And naming characters Kristen and Robert? Fuck you.
- Bieber and Hanson.
I refuse to believe that Dean knows shit about Snow White and other fairy tales but knows who the hell Bieber and Hanson are. That's just dumb.
- Their faces.
A lot of people, it seems feel that Jensen is the better actor. I disagree. I think both of them are mediocre and sometimes fairly decent. Not tonight. They both were, and I don't even really know how, over-acting and chewing on scenery with their stupid faces. BE MORE SUBTLE.
- Dean.
I wish I liked or cared at all about Lisa but I really don't. And Dean's phone call to her and then grinning like a giddy smitten school girl after ... just rubbed me the wrong way. Hmm, there were probably other things that bothered me about him but I don't remember what they were.
- Motherfucking Sam Fucking Winchester.
Ugh. What the fuck, mate? Now, Sam is still my favourite of the Winchesters. But this fuckery needs to be explained and then ended. I'm kind of hoping that's Sam's been hypnotized or something. Because I just don't get it, I really don't. I'd be all for an Evil!Sam if he just whipped out and was evil. This lame ass ... whatever the fuck he is at the moment Sam is grating. If he is evil and this is how he's going about it ... I would not be surprised to see a really pretty 40 year old woman burst through his stomach/chest area.
But what I really dislike, is that a lot of people are going to really hate Sam now. I just hope that sometime in the future he's loved again.
- "Rapey"
Just, no. That was just in poor taste. And how is a vampire watching a girl sleep any more "rapey" than a fucking useless angel watching a guy sleep?

Yes, AMENNNNNNNNNNNNNN. I lol'd cause their acting was SO TERRIBLE when they were pretending to be Edward/Bella but this whole storyline is just ridiculous and I'm fucking sick of filler episodes. RAWR.
I did laugh when Dean said "mmm bop" though. XD
Jensen definitely didn't act his best tonight - he looked constipated when he made that whole "I can't bring this crap home to you" speech to Lisa.

YES THIS! Sam is my fave ever and his actions in this episode just pissed me off beyond belief. I mean WHAT THE FUCK. Using Dean?! God. And then he had the nerve to lie to Samuel's face and go "yeah, I'm not using him, HOW DARE YOU SAY THAT" >:||||||||||||
I still love Sam and I always will but he just really pissed me off in this ep and I need to writers to rectify this shit. Then all will be well.
The whole "rapey" thing made me feel a bit weird too. He couldn't have said "creepy" instead? Jfc.
