If you look closely, you can almost see the AU HS fiction about the geek and jock who fell in love, kept their relationship secret for awhile until friends started questioning why they were hanging out together so much (no one needed that much tutoring) and how come they had matching necklaces.

I still find it hard to believe the Js didn't know each other before SPN...who knows, maybe they really did have matching necklaces on purpose ;)
