I liked the ending, it seemed like maybe, just maybe them boys might stand up and fight. Together. I think I'd enjoy seeing something like that.

I'm pretty sure I enjoyed Castiel in this as well. I know I liked him beating up Dean and I did like him saying, "I don't have the same faith in you as Sam does." [paraphrased]

I don't really understand the whole 'Oh, Adam. You're so swell and we love you. Please don't die.' thing they had going. HE WAS DEAD. THEY DID NOT KNOW HIM. But whatever. I hope he stays dead this time.

I am hoping that Dean's change of heart at the end was real because his whole, "I don't believe in you." thing was full on full of shit and and STFU, Dean Eugene Winchester.

I don't understand his thinking there or what the writers want us to be thinking with that.

I mean Dean's already made nice with Lucifer and lived to tell the tale. So, even if he didn't believe in Sam if he really thought that Sam was going to say yes ... wouldn't he want to fight Sam as himself. Get to him that way? "Human weakness never goes away." And all that jazz. And I know it's a different ball game but I like to think that if Sam was wearing Lucifer - that he'd still be in there somewhere.

I dunno.

Oh, and why does next week look like a filler?

This late in the season, you'd think they'd focus solely on the story arc. But yeah, I think next week is a filler.

At this point, who knows what the end of the season will bring. At this point, I see there being a "get out of the Apocalypse free" card. Look at what happened tonight. Dean said "yes" but he got out of it? How'd that happen?

And I think it was more that Adam is family, half or otherwise, and since the Winchesters are always about how important family is... they didn't have to KNOW him, y'know?

It does look filler-ish next week, though you know, Changing Channels looked to be simply filler until it the trickster turned into Michael and the episode went downhill into boredom country from there. :)

Next week looks like a filler ep and c'mon it's 519 there's only 4 (it's a 22 ep season again as far as I know) left and it's getting kinda...ridiculous? IDEK.

I liked the ending too, honestly but..

No offense to Jake Abel or whatever but IMO they only brought Adam back as a way for Dean to get out of saying yes, whatever. I hated it when I realized it and it still bothers me for some reason. Also at certain parts I wanted to give Adam a whack upside his head. He honestly annoyed me a bit and I don't feel bad in agreeing with you that I hope he doesn't come back. But looking at it one way I suppose Adam got what he wanted from Michael or whatever. Hope he's happy.

Ahhhhh. This one was satisfying. The ending, especially, for reasons you stated, as well as Castiel beating up Dean. Not just that he beat Dean up but also that he asserted himself like that and reminded Dean (and by proxy the other characters) that he's not just their errand boy and that joining their side meant a lot of sacrifice on his part.

I think Bobby could stand to get in a few punched on everybody, too.

Next week probably is filler. I guess the writers needed to come up for air after this last little drama or maybe they just want to use a standard MotW episode to exercise the newly reunited SamnDean dynamic. *shrug* There's, what, 4 episodes left in the season? Maybe they only had story arc for 3 and they needed to put the filler next week so the 100th could be special.

Kidding, he was totally a BAMF.
I loved it. It wasn't just a necessary episode, we deserved it.

(And as for the Lucifer thing, I think actually Lucy being in Sam's body would mean bye-bye Sam [that's what Michael implied in 5x13? when he said he wouldn't leave his vessel a vegetable "unlike (his) brothers" which would include Lucy, right?)

LOL @ Eugene. I couldn't be mad at Dean in this ep. His woobie face is working for me again, and I was just waiting for him to be healed by the power of love, WHICH WAS AWESOME.

Angry as fuck!Castiel is pretty interesting though.

While I loved the convo at the end, its occurrence with four eps left is making me a bit apprehensive. O.O
