I LOVE JENSEN ACKLES.

Seriously though. I don't think he's that uh, good at the singing. He's not horrible, no. But the only reason I'd buy his album is because it's JENSEN and not because I thought he was good.

And I mean Jensen not Dean, just so we're clear. I think I like Dean's singing more but not a lot - just slightly better

I couldn't be more jealous of Danneel and Sandy if I tried and yet I sort of want to pet them.

Which isn't really an opinion or an unpopular one, just a fact that exists in my life

I agree. People exaggerate how AMAZING he is just because it's him. If it was just some dude, they'd say that is was shit. I think he trys to sing through his nose and make his voice more gruff and manly, because he sings pretty high. It's still cute though and I'd hit it like the fist of an angry god. And I don't get Danneel and Sandy. They're just... girlfriends and bad actresses. I don't care about 'em, frankly.

I think Jensen's regular speaking voice is kind of high or at least compared to Dean's voice - but he speaks in Dean's low tones often that uhm, he doesn't use his normal voice anymore. Or something.

I don't think Danneel's a bad actress - I enjoyed her a lot on OTH but Sandy? I kinda wish that she were better. I just enjoy her because she's adorable.

He actually makes his voice lower for Dean? I never noticed, but I haven't really watched any of his earlier stuff except parts of Dark Angel. I just thought it was because he was younger or something, I guess.

I don't watch OTH, not my thing. I guess they're not horrible but just not OMG, you know? I even think Padalecki isn't that great and I still love him, so it's not a judgement of character on my part.

Oh, thank god. I thought I was going crazy. I can only watch so many interviews with certain people before ... I can't. And so I've only seen a couple and wasn't really paying attention to his voice.

I short circuited on those interviews as well. I downloaded all of them and I watched about 2, and the first was just funny with those questions, but yes, his voice was very different.

The reason I paid attention is because at BuddyTV, I've read too many reviews criticizing Jensen for his 'acting voice' on the show.

Well, they like Jared's acting better, because Jensen uses what people call an 'acting voice'. He's faking it too much, and it's overdone. I can see their point. He really has a stage voice on SPN, which he didn't before.

Oooh. Maybe that's why I don't 'believe/buy' some of the stuff that Dean says because it sounds so fake ... maybe it's because of the voice. I thought maybe it was lines but huh. *pays attention tonight*

Yeah, sometimes he goes overboard, and I love him, I really do, but I just don't think too much about it and move on. It's Supernatural, a show on the CW, not Shakespearean theater. LOL
