This was a comment to another comment over at my icon journal

Now, I'm all for this actor/singer/sports player is "my boyfriend, husband, girlfriend, wife." The occasional light hearted non threatening threats can be fine. But when something like that is said anonymously? Ugh. Please don't.

I went to college with a guy that did his hair like the guy from Flock of Seagulls. I knew him as "Flock" before I knew his real name and the first time I saw him with his hair down, I didn't recognize him. Unfortunately, he stopped putting it up after freshman year, so I had to start calling him Marc. Boo.
