Also, with his "similar home" bit, isn't that how he describes his and Jared's relationship? Only when it's about Jared he doesn't (IMO) come off sounding like a jerk.

In conclusion.

Jensen wants to date Jared. But we already knew that.

I was thinking the other day about how some of we want Jared and Sandy to have adorable tiny tiny babies but then I thought, 'What if they can't have children?' do we then come across as kind of assy for our hopeful squee?

I'm always stuck between these two modes:
1) He's all shy and secretive and it's really fucking adorable. And a big part of why I love him (on the inverse, I love Jared for how open he is - yin and yang, there's my OTP).
2) He's all shy and secretive nearly to the point of being a recluse and I REALLY WANT HIM TO OPEN UP 'CAUSE I'M A NOSY BITCH.

Dry humor definitely works best in person. I've gotten used to it in text, because I, er, used to hang out a lot at TWoP (where you learn pretty quick how to read snark and glean the meaning behind it ... and you also learn that TWoP is of the bad).

But holy crap, there's some serious wankage about this Jensen/Danneel thing around fandom right now which on one hand makes me sigh and shake my head but on the other it makes me laugh because this has already been done SO many times, why do people keep bringing up the wank? I don't hate Danneel but I don't know yet if I like her. I mean I don't not like her I just don't know her. Yanno? AND. No matter what I don't think I'll never not believe that she's a beard or any of Jensen's girlfriends. Because the boy? The boy is gay.

I seem to remembering something over the summer, someone spoke to her and found out she wouldn't be back next season, that she'd been written out? Perhaps when she was at Jensen's show in Texas? Hmmm. PURELY speculation, though, 'cause who knows if the source was legit. I'm really not familiar with One Tree Hill, but I know they don't get a whole lot of spoilers - which would have been the first place I looked. :P Haven't spotted a single mention of her or her character in anything I have seen, but that doesn't mean anything. Not necessarily. Huh.

Yeah, I really don't know anything about the whole thing, so ignore me. :P

Yeah, I've only known who Jensen is since March 2006 (I watched him on Smallville, but didn't care for his character, and I started watching Supernatural in March '06) , so everything I've seen of him is, well, all together at once. :P

It is interesting to me, though, to read stuff about Jensen hiding in dressing rooms at Days conventions, compared to how he is now. He's definitely opened up drastically over the last two years and that is SO DEFINITELY attributed to Jared.

I'm reminded of that fan report (http://forums.televisionwithoutpity.com/index.php?showtopic=3132514&st=7455&p=6410707&#entry6410707) from Paley, about how Jensen was freaking out, then so damn RELIEVED when he found Jared. (I don't necessarily like the source, 'cause he's kind of pompous, but I trust him not to exaggerate, so I completely believe this.)

"Dean guards Sam. Jared guards Jensen."

The more I hear about his love life (and it's not much) the more it seems like he and Wentworth Miller have in common. Like in a few years when Jensen's a teeny bit more established there will suddenly be more media questions about why he doesn't date much and he'll be using generic terms like "I've been with this person for a long time" and then he'll be spotted and photographed hanging around town with Jared and rumors will really start to fly about the two of them being an item.

Because he's speaking here like she's a blind date or something. "It works well!" "We have stuff in common... we're both from the South!" Though I find "she's good people" kind of adorable for some reason.
