a phonecall away

Jensen: Jared, why are you calling?
Jared: Because it's been like a week since we've talked on the phone.
Jensen: You do remember that I live in your house and that we work together, right?
Jared: It's our house now and yes, I just miss this.
Jensen: Where are you?
Jared: Just up the block.
Jensen: You left the house so you could call?
Jared: And I wanted ice cream.
Jensen: There's a freezer full of ice cream.
Jared: But it's not a phonecall away and maybe I wanted something that's not there.
Jensen: Twenty dollars says you come home with something that's already in the freezer.
Jared: Deal. And Jensen?
Jensen: Yeah?
Jared: We should do this more often.
Jensen: [smiles. sighs. hangs up.]
Jared: [continues to the store and brings home ice cream that's already in the freezer]
