please explain

there was a teenage boy (and the fact that it was a boy isn't important to the story, I just like that it was a boy) wearing a t-shirt. as people do.

the t-shirt said, 'girl skateboard' but the "o" was done up like the "o" in Ghost Busters with the ghost in it.

and I don't understand how that is all connected.

what do ghosts (ghost busters?) have to do with girl skateboards. or the other way around.

someone help me connect the dots, please.

From what I can tell on Google, Girl Skateboards is part of the Girl Distribution Company, which makes skateboards, clothing and anything skate related. Seems like they have teams which compete, not unlike roller derby, so they have their own logos. Could be that. Or just regular clothing logos advertising the Girl Skateboard section.

So... I've been all behind on LJ once again, and I want to leave a bunch of comments on things you've posted unlocked - but they're back in August and I feel really silly. So I'm just going to sum them up here. (And hopefully you'll remember the posts, because if you don't I'll sound even more ridiculous than usual.)

-- You are right about New York Minute. I kind of adore that movie. A lot. And Jared needs to shut up about it.

-- I am also looking forward to watching Elementary! Plus, I'm planning on checking out Arrow, Revolution, Beauty & the Beast and 666 Park Avenue. But I must admit that I have a bad habit of not sticking with new shows after watching the pilot most of the time. I'll try not to do that this season.

-- And after seeing all the pics and stuff of One Direction at the VMA's, I totally get it. I reblogged a few more pics of them at tumblr than I meant to, actually.
