Do you have a Paypal account?
Do you like it?
Have you had any problems with it?
Also with Paypal can you use a debit card instead of a credit card?

Do you shop on eBay?
Have you had a lot of luck with it?
Have you ever been ripped off?

Sometimes I think I'd like to use these things. But. I just. I just don't know if I trust things.

I have a PayPal account though I do not use it much. It's okay. Sometimes it makes buying things on the internet easier. I have never had any problems with it, although I do think I should delete it because I really don't use it much. I keep forgetting the password, so I figure if I just delete it, I don't have to worry about someone hacking it.

I have used eBay before as well, never been ripped off. But I'm pretty careful about what I buy on eBay and I always read reviews on all the sellers. I never buy from anyone who only has a few reviews, or has rating below 90%. I don't use eBay much anymore though because I just can't be arsed to check on bidding, etc.

I have a PayPal account. I find it quite handy (although I had to make a second one cause the name on my Visa changed when I got married, and PayPal wouldn't let me change the name on my account. Asshats).

Anyways. I don't use eBay much, but Cory has used it numerous times for car parts and such, and I believe we've had pretty good luck with it.

Have been using both for MANY years and I've only been ripped off once on ebay, and that's out of about 300 transactions. The key is reading reviews of the seller you're considering. I usually buy from real people instead of "businesses" also. I can't explain why I feel like thats better though. The personal touch? I like paypal because you don't have to type in your credit card number all the time, it's linked to my account directly.

In Canada you can't use a debit card because we can't use our debit cards the way Americans do, when they can use the same card for debit and credit both. My solution to the credit card problem was to buy a cheap prepaid credit card and link that to my PayPal account. PayPal accepted it, and even though I'm sure there is actually no money left on the card, I can now use my PayPal account as "verified", which I think in PayPal terms means "you have a credit card to back up your account if there isn't actually enough money in your bank account to pay for your purchase."

I have been using EBay for years, though I don't use it often. I did have a problem on EBay once, but that had nothing to do with PayPal, except that I waited too long to dispute the transaction so I was SOL.

I like PayPal because I do not have a credit card. The main reason I bought books through Kobo instead of Amazon was that Amazon doesn't take PayPal and Kobo does.

I use PayPal almost exclusively when I online shop now. It's great. Never had a problem. They'll even handle credit card disputes for you, so you don't have to get bothered with the bullshit.

I used to use eBay quite often, but when I have, it's been almost 100 percent flawless. But I take the time to research the vendors I'm purchasing from (reading the buyer feedback, etc.) before I purchase anything, so that helps.

I've shopped on eBay a lot and only been ripped off once. When I've had problems with some things, they were usually resolved rather quickly. A few months ago I ordered a powercord and it stopped working within a few weeks. I had to send back the broken one, but they immediately shipped me another one even before they got the broken one back. You can find a lot of good deals and sometimes people will pay a LOT for lame stuff you never use, which is always a bonus.

I use Paypal for that and a lot of other things online. Never had any issues with it, though it's a little frustrating sometimes how slow it can be to transfer funds to a paypal account or from paypal to a bank account. And yes, I have my paypal hooked up through my debit card/bank account.

Fun fact, one of the guys who invented paypal is now working as an independent rocket scientist so...yeah.

I have a paypal account, I had it linked to both my debit card and my actual bank savings account. It is pretty handy. I don't use it often these days but it is handy to have. I have used ebay to buy things in the past, only ever had a problem once. usually as long as you check the sellers feedback its ok, and paypal have a fairly good dispute process if something does happen.

I use both paypal and ebay. I have for many years. I buy on ebay and sell on ebay as well.

More and more sites are accepting paypal as a form of payment so people don't have to put their cc info online. I use it whenever it's accepted. It's great and it only costs if you are the seller.

Ebay can be a goldmine for just about anything you need from a button to a car. The key is reading seller feedback. Look for duration as a seller, high rating (I won't use anyone with less than 98%), and number of transactions. You don't want a seller who has a 100% rating but has only sold 5 items. Ebay has a fantastic system of checks and balances for problem transactions. They will mediate on your behalf if necessary and the unhappy buyer is usually going to get results.

I've been using both for many years. I love PayPal and I use it a lot. When I'm not paying with credit card, I'm usually paying with PayPal. It comes in handy quite often.

As for eBay, I have been using it in my teen years to buy merchandise and was never ripped off once. You just have to check people's feedback on their page. I usually never buy from anybody who has less than 96-98% when they've already sold a lot of things. I'm just too paranoid, lol. But I never had problems before.
