I'm going to assume that someone else is watching this show.
After the first episode, I was thinking that he was the one who died but couldn't admit to himself and yeah. I don't know where my thoughts were going with that.
But after the second. Laura Innes and that other guy were having a conversation. And I don't remember it at all but clearly they KNEW and KNOW things and wait, what? Is she still playing her The Event character?
And okay, I don't have anything to say about tonight's episode.
Just. What are your theories for what is happening? (ps. If you know actual spoilers, please don't spoil me.)
Have "they" some how created two different worlds to see which one works better?

I was talking about the general premise with my daughter, and she mentioned that even though the guy has lost his wife in one world and his son in the other... he still has them both. They just don't have each other.
She thought that was kind of happy. I think that, right now, both his wife and son are so in mourning in his separate worlds that they are both closed off from him (and he's somewhat distanced from their feelings by the fact that the missing person is alive in his other world, for half of every day).
So the "think like a logical person" part of me says that the character lost them both, and is in a loony bin right now locked in his own subconscious where he's trying to make sense of it all and the best he can do is cope with half-losses in two different worlds.
Yark. Now I've overthought. Or something. :0
