Instagram

crystalchain informed me (and anyone else who was reading and didn't know) that Android phones will one day in the (hopefully near) future will finally get Instagram.

This pleases me because I wants it. I wants it real bad.

And I'm having fun with it.




Okay, part of the yard.

I don't know why we have a bench. And I don't know why we have a bench under a tree.

I like that there's quite a few effects, overlays and borders to choose from but the actual picture quality doesn't seem as good as Instagram.

Random Android comment: Did you try LittlePhoto and VignetteDemo? Those two are pretty cool as well even though nothing beats Pixlromatic...

Oh, most of these editors miss stuff like contrast/exposure and stuff. "PicSay" can do that. The rest of the effects aren't that great but if you need that, you can always lighten/do contrast with PicSay, save the picture and use one of the other apps for effects. MAGIX Camera MX is even better with contrast/light...

Yeah, I'm wasting a lot of time with this.

I don't know about your northerly neck of the woods, but down here we think all benches should be under trees. Because why would you want to sit in the sun and fry?

That is a good point. But the bench in the yard is just random. And it's facing the house and there's another bench just like it a few feet away and uhm. There's really no point to this other than to say, there's a couple of random benches in our yard.

I don't get the appeal of Instagram, but then I don't usually go about photo-documenting my days so perhaps that is it.

I don't do that either, I just really like the idea of applying filters to the pictures I do take.
