Semagic Tag Help

Do you use semagic to update your livejournal?

If yes, please help me.

Where the tags are listed (on Semagic) ... how do you get rid of them?

The tags have been deleted on the livejournal site.

The "update" button has been clicked on Semagic and yet the tags are still there.

I've logged out and back in and yet ... still there.

I want to get rid of them.

Also, the "edit tag list" does not work.

Please help.

I could never figure out how to delete my tags either, but now that I have installed it on my new laptop the obsolete tags I couldn't get rid of aren't there anymore.

So you could try uninstalling it and then installing it again, which is a bit of a pain but it should work.

I just ended up clicking the "clear tags" button and then "update" it seemed to have worked.

If you find a way please teach me. I've been trying to make that happen for SO LONG! (If you uninstall and install it again the obsolete tags will disappear, but you can't do that every ten days.)

Also, I really wish they'd make a patch so that the tags are journal specific (like the userpics). I have more than one journal and all the tags end up in the same tag list. Grrr.

I ended up just doing the "clear tags" thing and then "update" and that cleared it.

For specific journal tags, if you go to the top and scroll to whatever journal you want and then to to the "update" tag button, that should work.

You mean that worked for you? That never worked for me. Unfair.

It doesn't work for me. I have every tag I ever used for my journals or for communities in the tag list and they refuse to separate. *sighs*

Still doesn't work, but it might be that it's not fully compatible with Vista. It looks a bit funny too. LOL
