Truth but most of it I was left with 'uhm... what?' about the 'movie'.

Oh! He lived. No harm came to him and he was basically left with Liz Parker's journal. Clearly this character knows aliens exist and possibly ran across them helping Maria and Michael break into the biz of music/ movies (this was actually the conclusion for M/M in the second set of books based off the show. I find it funny and unlikely.)
