Friends cut

What if you made one of those, 'Hey, I'm doing a friends cut - comment if you want to stay.' posts and NO ONE commented? How shit would you feel?

ps. I'm not doing a friends cut, I was just saying 'What if...'

Well, honestly, I really, really hate those kinds of entries. If a person really wants to do a friends cut, who am I to tell them otherwise? I'm not going to beg to be kept on someone's list. I have more dignity than that. Most of the time when people make those posts I just say to myself, "Well, it was nice knowing them."

I have never done a friends cut. I have journals on my friends list that haven't been updated in years, but they're not hurting anyone by staying there.
