boy howdy ... waiting for that buyer's remorse to kick in.

[This is what happened today. These events are true, though some conversations have been exaggerated for entertainment purposes.]


Started at Wal Mart where I bought some pink plaid gum boots. And also some turkish delight (the actual candies not the chocolate bar) but that purchase doesn't really count.

And then we (cousin and aunt) went for lunch. I was pretty good at lunch and just had water to drink with my food.

Then it was off to Shopper's for their Gala event. I knew I was going to spend some money there because I was getting a make-over and figured I'd want to buy a couple of the products they used.

But before that, there was wandering around and "Can I help you with anything?"

A few months ago, I asked a woman what perfume she was wearing. She said Gwen Stefani's L.A.M.B.

And back the present day, 'I was actually wondering what the price range on Gwen Stefani's L.A.M.B. was." "Oh, we actually have some for 20dollars." "GIMME IT NOW." "All right, settle down customer. They're not going anywhere. Also, I'll give you this gift bag too." "BESTEST!"

A few minutes later.

"Can I have a hand massage? ps. My hands are RILLY dry."
"Guess, we'll have to use the super duper moisturizer on you."
*enjoys hand massage*
"By the by, this lotion is usually a GAJILLION and two dollars but is on sale today for $20."
"Hook me up, bb."

Then it was make over tiems over at the Benefit section.

And after. "We used this product. And this product. And this and that and blah blah blah."

"Okay, all right. I will take THREE of them."

Those three products came to quite a bit when you're used to buying make up from Wal Mart.

And somewhere along the line I got another slightly different gift bag.

I had planned on not spending a lot of money this month because I want to try and save for Christmas. My plan is not going so well.

No more buying things! ... for now.

Ooooooo, Benefit is awesomely evil. I go there to get my brows done and EVERY TIME their are like, "Well, have you tried this? And would you like this? And this is awesome! And I always use this and my skin is flaaaaaaaaaawless!" and suddenly my $20 treatment is much, much (much) more.

Oooh, I didn`t know that they did eyebrows. And damn them and their ways of selling things!

They do KICK ASS eyebrows. But then they try to get you to tint them as well, and since you're tinting your brows you should tint your lashes, too, and did you try this cream, it gets the red out!

And, yeah. They're crafty.

LOL, I've been trying to be good. Trying really really hard.
(It helps that I don't have a Chapters in town, cause thats where I would spend the most $$..)
I've been trying to stay away from Shoppers, cause I enjoy that GOSH eyeshadow and I want more, but it's lottsa dough.

Before it was time for the make over, I was wandering and eyeing the GOSH and there was 10% off and I thought about getting one but instead I spent $22 freaking dollars on one little eyeshadow from Benefit.
