Delurking because YES. YES to everything you said up there. Although, thinking about point #4 I keep hearing my undergrad thesis professor in my head saying in a condescending voice, "Aye, that's a fond hope" after we expressed an expectation that Samuel Johnson would grow less tedious.

I feel like I can't abandon Show, but I'm having a Significant Problem with this season.
