certainthings: (Jensen says And cut!)

I think I might've liked it.

I enjoy Bobby but sometimes I've very meh about Bobby.

But this ep. This ep had some laughs.

And Crowley's impression of himself and Bobby was brilliant and spot on.

"I'm surly and have a beard!"

And Bobby's blow up to Dean and Sam was perfect and the best ever rant/speech given on the show yet.

And I really enjoyed the lack of Dean and Sam, I did.

They're pretty and blah blah blah but I get so tired of their stupid sometimes.

Oh, and I quite like Rufus. I was afraid he was going to die during the ep, glad he didn't. I hope he keeps on keeping on.

And I think that Jensen did a pretty good job directing? *shrugs*

DEAR GOD, YES.

And I really enjoyed the lack of Dean and Sam, I did.

YES YES YES! Glad I'm not the only person who felt this.

Lack of Sam and Dean. No Castiel ... and lo, it was all very good.

This ep was very much SPN's "The Zeppo" episode. Except they acknowledged that everyone takes advantage of Bobby. So...I guess it wasn't very much like "The Zeppo" at all, in that respect... lol

I actually quite enjoyed the lack of Sam and Dean. And no Castiel makes me a very happy person, indeed. Twas nice.

I honestly couldn't tell a difference between the directing in this ep from any other ep, so I guess that means Jensen did a good job? idk. I'll be very interested in seeing any behind-the-scenes footage of him directing on the S6 dvd set, should there be any.

I loooooooved Bobby's blow-up at Sam & Dean. It's been a long-time coming and I'm glad they actually LISTENED to him and took it to heart. Yay!

It was kind of Zeppo-y, you're right.

I couldn't tell the difference either, hence my shrugging. I guess he did a decent enough job that we could tell that it wasn't shit. :p

Have you seen this?

It's a little behind the scenes thing for the ep. I just watched it, I didn't listen or well, I listened to a teeny tiny bit so I don't really know what was said.

Yeah, but for how long are they going to take it to heart?

I've always enjoyed Bobby but last season I felt some of the meh. This, though, had some great Bobby moments.

Crowley, as always, was awesome. I kinda like that Bobby & Sam & Dean now have a...workable, we'll say, relationship with the king of hell. This amuses me.

I also enjoyed Rufus a lot. I kinda like the Bobby 'n' Rufus curmudgeonly ol' buddies dynamic.

Bobby's rant in this episode and Crowley's moments in the past of pointing out the same general sentiments to the boys make me very happy. I enjoy characters critiquing Show when it gets tedious.

I never thought I'd enjoy the lack of Sam & Dean like this but I did.

Jensen's directing was fairly meh. He needed to, like, try some different angles, y'know?

Screw season seven ... SPIN-OFF! The Bobby and Rufus Show. I'd watch the shit out of that.

Normally I don't say this but...I'd kinda watch that, too. Rufus on the phone while driving from the cops was particularly excellent.

But then, that's what I used to like about Sam and Dean before the ANGST took over entirely.

There needs to be more of this.

Yeah. Maybe if he directs again he'll try something new.

I don't like Bobby, so I'm a little miffed that last night's episode made me like him more. That's either a credit to the writers or to Jensen's directing - and I actually think it was the directing, which irks me more since I don't like Jensen, lol. I loved the way he got Bobby's researching down and made it clear how hard he works and the editing was only a LITTLE too clipped for my taste. But it worked.

They'll probably let him direct again. Sigh.

Rufus is easily my favorite. No, Crowley. No, Rufus. Hmm. Crowley. Rufus runs a close second.

Hahaha. I love you so much. I mean, I enjoy Jensen but I also really like it when people don't.

I think Jensen did a decent job directing, but it's interesting how Sam is barely at all in this episode, while Dean still sort of is... you'd think t'd be the other way around....

But the show is All About Dean so, it makes sense that he'd be in it the most even though the ep wasn't really about him or Sam.

Not that I'm bitter or anything. :p

Haha no of course not. :p

Rufus and Bobby are sort of what the Dean and Sam of old would have grown up to be.. Dean still running around doing crazy shit and Sam sitting around doing research... *sigh*

And now ... I don't even know what they'll be like. Maybe something will happen and they'll get their acts together.
