computer

Sometime in the not too distant future I hope to buy a new computer. I want a new desktop. Right now, I have a Dell and I'm quite happy with it - I just want something new and shiny.

Does anyone have any recommendations on what is good? It doesn't have to be Dell but if it is ... that's great.

please to be looking at actual manufacture websites. i got my hp-media ready desk top, with like, 250G hd, and 4G memory for $600, refurbished; and i LOVE it!
of course, Dell will have the same thing, and perhaps a "loyal customer" discount!

I'm not a "loyal customer" my grandparents paid for this computer.

But I did find a computer I want on their website and I was all set to see if I could do a monthly payment plan but alas, they need information that I do not currently have/know. So, I have to wait until I can get to the bank and then do some more filling out and clicking to see if I'm rejected.
