I forgot that I had something to say about this episode. It's possible it may be one of those "unpopular opinions." I'm not sure because often someone will say, 'I have an unpopular opinion and it's THIS THING.' and then a handful of others will say, 'Well, actually I think/feel the same way and hold on while I add to that opinion.' And so, I'm not when something stops being unpopular. Right then.


CHRISTIAN KANE AND ALONA TAL TOGETHER MADE ME SO FUCKING UNCOMFORTABLE AND AND ... I don't even know what else. I just know that I did not like it AT ALL and I was all, MY EYES! MY EYES! And I need for it to not be in my life and just typing this, remembering the scenes they had - I'm fairly certain my face looks like it's both disgusted and in pain while I fight with my brain to not actually SHOW me the scenes. Yanno? But alas it's not working because it's there, faint in the background of mah mind. Damn, you, stupid ass brain.  ... Especially the first scene with the guitar and the hair flipped over the shoulder and him looking at her and DO NOT WANT AT ALL..

I don't know why I feel this way because they're both very pretty.

I.. I agree with you on this. I don't know, upon first viewing I was sort of okay with it maybe but then I don't know.

My Momma, on the other hand, and totally irrelevant (mostly because they're an entire season behind watching), thinks Chris is/looks [and this is a direct quote]: 'meaner than cat shit and needs to cut his hair'. NGL, I died laughing hearing that. I shouldn't have, probably, maybe.

eta: maybe show was trying too hard and just.. fell flat?

I felt like I should have been which to be fair, I was distracted when I originally watched it (and just went 'okayyyyy') so when I went back and rewatched it with the parents I was just like '.....why am I not okay with this as much as I should be?' I mean to me it was just... okay, nothing spectacular, it looked a little off esp during that scene where she's 'teaching him to play'. Yanno?

Ahahahahahaha. I've been wondering that for years and still don't know, pretty mean I'd imagine, though. And yeah, maybe if he'd cut it a bit shorter and loose the ponytail length then all would be okay, tbh.

I dunno. I dont like Alona Tal...but maybe its because they are both one degree of separation away from Jensen and it feels like some weird sort of incest...the gross kind.
