And shows should never end with cliffhangers. Ever. Honestly, I think that if a show is going to end and the people know that there is no chance for either a movie or a reunion show down the road then all the characters should die.
Yeah he played Sam's brother/ the devil's other, better looking and more evil son who, much like a certain other set of brothers, had this "compete for daddy's love/do what he wants so he loves me, thing going on.
I don't remember anything about the scene. Or much about the whole ep. I just know that both of their acting abilities (imo) used to be better. Like in the first couple of seasons and even then it wasn't ... it. Uhm, yeah. They tend to chew on scenery a lot. I think.

The way Jared holding the knife and approaching Brady makes me laugh so bad. Remind me how my grandma kills chickens. He must watched a lot of crappy Chinese Gong-fu movies. I am sorry to say this but seriously, THEY NEED A BETTER ACTION DIRECTOR FFS!!
I didn't even notice the knife/or the way he was holding it until you pointed it out. And uh, yeah. I mean, I personally have never stabbed or threatened to stab anyone but even I wouldn't hold a knife like that if I were going to. What the hell is he thinking? Seriously? Now, I'm really annoyed. :p
