I was totally thinking about apps to recommend last night!
Okay, in terms of games: -Tap Tap Revenge 3. It has a weekly free track on Thursdays that you can d/l (and if you miss it, you can grab it whenever you have wi-fi), and as you level up, you can unlock more free tracks. This game is fairly addictive once you get the hang of it and you can play with or without wi-fi. Any points/coins you accrue while playing "offline" will be submitted next time you play "online" :D -Labyrinth 3D. It's a ball that you have to work through a wooden maze, without falling in the holes. Kinda fun. -Bubble Snap. Because who doesn't love popping bubbles in bubble wrap? -Toobz-Free. I'm a sucker for those kind of games where you have to connect pipes so water doesn't spill out. -DoodleBuddy. I like to do little Paint drawings when I'm bored.
Other apps: -Mixology. Sometimes, when I'm sitting around with my bff and we have a stash of liquor, we don't know what kinds of drinks we can mix up. This app allows you to input what ingredients you have and tells you what all you can make. Very handy for those that like to make mixed drinks at home. Comes with a handy glossary of terms and you can also look up drinks by name to see what they're comprised of. -Pandora. I like having internet radio when I'm on campus. It's free and I can log into my Pandora account to access my custom stations wherever I go. -Echofon. Twitter is a must for me and I have this same app for Firefox on my laptop. It's my preferred Twitter program. -Convert Units. I get annoyed when I have to convert between units of measurement and can't remember a conversion factor. This one is nice because you can pick what category (ie: length, area, volume, etc) and then input how much of your desired unit you need versus the unit you current have (ex: 4 quarts needed = 16 cups).
I also have the "Big Day Lite" countdown app for silly reasons (lol how many days are left until graduation or whatever)
One of the games I already had downloaded was tap tap revenge and holy mother of shit I suck at it. Hard. Like, really really bad.
And I have a bowling one downloaded which is fun cos, you can either swipe the ball down the lane or hold the ipod touch and swing your arm, I guess like one would do with a Wii.
