Rob Zombie's Halloween II Family is Forever

So based on that subject line I just watched Rob Zombie's Halloween II Family is Forever. Mmhmm. And HOMG. So freaking good (imo, of course) I mean if you like these kinds of movies.


It's been a long long time since I've seen the original Halloween and the original Friday the 13th so any and all characters I talk about are just the ones from the remakes.

Yeah. Michael Myers? So much creepier than Jason Voorhees and he has a helluva lot more personality too. Sure, like Jason Michael just meanders around killing people all willy nilly but, and maybe it's the acting, maybe it's the directing perhaps a combinbination of both, when he does it it just feels different. Like maybe he has a reason, a twisted reason sure but yeah.

I cringed a bit when one character was killed, I cried a bit when another was killed instead of just rolling my eyes and/or yawning like I do when watching most horror movies.

Mostly what I need in my life right now is for Rob Zombie to gather all the actors from F13 and remake it again. Because I honestly feel that he could and would do a much better job. Let's start a petition, people. Send out a memo. Something.

Right ... if you enjoy these sorts of movies? It's not shabby at all.

But what I really really love about his remakes? Blooper reel! Love that so so much. All movies need a blooper reel.

Rob Zombie is MY FAVORITE. He makes scary movies that actually make me afraid, and not many horror movies do.

I don't find them scary but I do find them to be a lot better than a lot of them out there. Just better quality and acting and directing and just fucking everything. Seriously, why couldn't he have been the one to do F13?

It wasn't until the end of the movie when I saw the names that I was all, 'Hey ... I think that's the girl Sammy likes.' :)

She was very good.

Have you seen the Unrated Director's Cut of the first one he's done? I have the three disc edition. So much scout. Also my favorite thing about Part I's blooper reel is that the 'Michael' goes in the house and then comes out wearing a Jason mask. I cracked up.

I have the first one as well, I saw it awhile ago and bought the both of them today for $30. But I think the one I have is just a two disc edition - yeah, it is. I just checked.

I freaking LOVED that part in the blooper reel. They really should've gotten Tyler Mane to play Jason as well. I mean whatsisface wasn't bad as Jason I just think Tyler brings more emotion and personality to his character. But to be fair it's been awhile since I've watched F13 and I dislike it a lot so I'm probably not the best judge of character.

Everybody still dislikes F13th so much. Now you've put this idea in my head of an RZ F13TH reboot and oh lordy I want it. Well there's that too but I think it also has to do with a script and the actor if that makes sense.

Also? Shutter Island was wonderful - it and Remember Me are probably going to be my favorite movies this year ( :P) I was weirded out midway through in one scene that was dead serious and someone turned the lights on and we all got freaked out. LOL then someone yelled, 'Turn the fucking lights off, we've only been in here for 30 minutes!' And this dude behind Daddy, Momma, me and Kezzie would not STFU.

I'm gonna go and try to get some sleep - it's 4 AM and Kez and I decided to both wake up at 8 so she can watch 5.14 :D

Um, I just have a quick question. I apologize in advance for being all nosy.

I went over to redgymshorts and noticed that you took your icons and such off of the info page. Are you not going to be posting there anymore? Because you're definitely the only reason I watch that community, so I'm just curious.

The only reason I thought to look is because I was hoping you had posted icons from the newest episode - because I saw your "wait your turn" icon and the close-up one of dean handcuffing Sam and sorta love them.

So I guess that's question #2: Would it be okay if I used those two icons? If not, it's all good. :)

This morning on my radio station, they were getting ready to phone interview Rob Zombie, so while they were waiting, they were having callers talk about random, Rob Zombie-ish things. They were getting really annoyed, though, because Rob was supposed to call, and didn't, and they had been waiting for three hours.

...then they realized that the Rob Zombie interview is scheduled for NEXT Monday.

This is why I love my radio station :D
