It could just be the vessel's biology... Or maybe it's just a general human craving, and Castiel thinks it's Jimmy-specific. Like, "why does this body crave meat" when he's never felt that before.

I haven't seen the Jimmy episode in awhile but wasn't he fully conscious and not totally dead when Castiel re-inhabited him? If that's the case then like Meg he's just gonna be in stasis until Castiel leaves him at which point his body will die from the damage it's sustained.

Yeah, that was very interesting. I'd kind of thought that he'd died when Castiel exploded. And now I'm wondering if they'll be doing anything more with this tidbit .. or they just used it for the joke/plot.
