"How am I supposed to make breakfast with Lucifer in my life?!"
What the fuck was that? Like I said in my review of last week's ep I enjoyed it up until Becky said, 'Bela's a lying liar who lies.' and now after this ep? I like it even less. And by, "I don't like it." I really mean, "I'm kinda pissed and what the fuck is wrong with these people?" These people being the writers and such of the show. I feel that last week's ep should've just started with the people leaving the Con and we'd hear them talking about how 'freaking awesome it was.' and Sam would be glaring and Dean would do a full body shudder and Chuck would apologize several times and then Becky would mention the thing about Bela and the colt. And then the rest of the ep would be about Sam and Dean and I guess Bobby getting a hold of Ellen and Jo? Or maybe Ellen and Jo heard something and phoned them? I don't know. I would like to know how and why Ellen and Jo were there. Ugh. I just. Why do it this way? Fucking hell.
Right. On to what happened in this damn ep.
I'm really freaking surprised that I actually got a little weepy over Ellen and Jo's deaths. Honestly? I didn't think I cared about them all that much and the only other deaths that I've gotten a wee bit weepy over on the show? Bela's and Dracula's. No, seriously. True story.
The guy playing Crowley, I know I know him from several things and I'm pretty sure I've enjoyed him in all things I've seen him in but I don't think I know his name nor can I name one thing I've seen him and I just saw him on something recently. Boo. He was hella awesome. I hope we see him again.
I did like him kissing the other guy, not for the gayness of it but because it means that 14 year old Bela did have to kiss that 9 year old looking demon and I enjoy that the show went there for the motherfucking wrongness of it all. Enjoy in a weird twisted sort of way not a 'yeee, child on child porn' sort of way, just so we're clear.
Was that actual chemistry between Castiel and Meg? That was nice. I'm fairly certain I wouldn't have minded a little makey outey between the two of them.
Yeah. I thought STAN was Meg's friggin' father not Lucifer. What the? I'm fairly certain Stan said something about them being his children and while I didn't necessarily mean in a 'biological' sort of way but in a 'I raised them sort of way' ... Why was she calling Lucifer Dad? Or does she have a handful of Dads? Just any older male figure? Is she a Dad slut? Please explain this to me.
I'm pretty sure that I enjoyed the ep, I just wish they'd gone about it a little differently.
When your hero comes to town what you need to know
You never thought you'd play a part oh, when the whole thing blows
We're heading for damnation the preacher tells us all
He leads the congregation to a wailing wall
Gotta run for the savior get a hold of his hand
Does he feel like an angel or an ordinary man?
