Supernatural 5x09
Nov. 12th, 2009 08:38 pmHere we go again.
Well, I didn't strongly dislike it like I thought I would but I really didn't love it like most of my flist so far seems to have.
Chuck as an individual is kind of all right.
Becky as an individual is ... kind of scary and not my cup of tea.
Chuck and Becky as a couple? Gives me the heebie jeebies and then there's the part where it's just wrong and sad.
Why would you want to date your number one bat shit crazy fan? Are you that desperate?
And Becky? What a bitch. She's all over Sam and then she sees Chuck be a Fucking Man for a moment and she's wet? Whatever!
If ... When he goes back to being bumbling scared Chuck is she going to stop liking him?
Ugh.
I did like that it was mostly men at the convention, I don't think I could have handled it if it were a bunch of crazy screaming girls.
!Sam and !Dean were kind of adorable and I wasn't that surprised to learn that they were "Howdy" partners.
And while they believed that Sam and Dean were missing the point of the books, I believe that THEY are missing the point of the 'books'. Some of it, sure, the adventure and having someone die for you, yes. That's great. But then there's also the part about, I dunno ... what was it? Oh, yeah. "Saving people. Hunting things."
Oy.
And except for the last minute where we learned, "Boy, you sure is stupid. Bela was a lying liar. I know where the colt is!" this episode was completely pointless.
Why couldn't that have happened in the first minute and then the rest of the show been about getting the colt? Maybe they could fight a dragon on the way, whatever. I don't care.
Cos, it seems like they're packing a lot into next week's ep.
Vey.
I miss Ruby.
And I get that Jim Beaver is busy with his hookers and dizzyness but where the hell is Bobby? Is he sittin' by his lonesome drinkin' and cryin over his legs that don't work? Is he in rehab fixing his legs? Has he crossed over to the darkside and is working with Lucifer to try and convince Sam to say yes?
