certainthings: (Sam and Dean : Everyday normal life)

This is probably going to be all over the place.

So, I didn't hate it but I didn't love it either.

I have no problem believing that Buffy Summers is The Chosen One but for some reason I cannot believe that Sam and Dean Winchester have also been "chosen" for different roles but yeah. I'm not sure why that is.

The Trickster's version of 'Supernatural' is pretty much how I see/view every ep, just the colours are darker as is the lighting of the show.

I was really really fucking LOVING The Trickster right up until we learned that not so secretly he's really GABRIEL in DISGUISE. HOMG!!! That seems pulled out of an ass to me. Maybe not, but there it is. It was great learning that he's stronger than Castiel.

Dean said he wished they were back on TV. But uh, has he forgotten that they're actually in a series of books? Slightly different but also a little bit of six of one a half dozen of the other.

Randy: Careful, this is the moment when the supposably dead killer comes back to life for one last scare.
Sidney: Not in my movie.

I don't quite understand why they don't just get a hold of Chuck and perhaps start re-writing one of his manuscripts. Or write ahead of the game. Write their own ending.

I did quite enjoy that when Dean met McDreamy Dr. Sexy he looked more smitten and googly eyed than he ever has whenever he's looked at a girl that he's found breathing attractive.

The duct tape over Castiel's mouth was a real nice look for him.

I wonder if the doctor's (nurse's?) speech to Sam about him being scared and thinking that he's not able to love again was all fiction or if we were supposed to read between the lines.

Dean said that he hated procedural (I think I maybe spelled that word wrong) cop shows because they're all the same. Going behind the scenes, I'm assuming this is the POV of the writers of Supernatural or the writer of this ep. But what I would like to know is do they not realize that their show at least in the earlier seasons was very very similar to all of those 'cop' shows? Or, well I think so.

On CSI, Criminal Minds, Medium ... and a slew of others, there's a body. There's investigating. There's research. There's finding out who dunnit.

On Supernatural there was a body. There's investigating. There's research. There's finding out who (or in most cases what) dunnit.

And sure, the investigating and research techniques are different but the end result is the still the same isn't it? Find the bad guy.

This is also why I don't understand how some people find shows like Supernatural scary or scary at times but can watch those other kinds of shows.

But then I don't understand a lot of things.

Oh! Oh oh ho!

"Would your mother and father still be alive if Sam hadn't been born?" (or however it was worded)
"Yes."

FUCK THAT AND FUCK YOU.

Is there a greater chance that they'd still be alive? Perhaps. But one cannot know for certain if they would have been, and I get that it was fiction (I almost just typed 'fuction") and was a silly game show but they're still implying that shit and again I say FUCK YOU. Stop blaming Sam for shit he has no control over. RAGES & ROARS

Because they spent three seasons building up something totally different and then retconned the hell out of it in season four?

Hahaha. That there is an excellent point.

I don't understand this show at all.
