certainthings: (Sam and Dean - but a circle goes on)
[personal profile] certainthings

I liked the witch. Thought he was interesting and other such words. But during the majority of his scenes all I could think was, 'Man, Glenn Quinn would have been perfect in that role if he weren't suffereing from a case of being dead.'

During Bobby's, 'Blah blah blah I'm so useless, woe is me.' speech I was both laughing and thinking of ScaryVeiny!Willow's, "Mom!" "Buffy!" "Tara!" "Waah!"

But thinking about it now ... I also don't believe Bobby would be all "wah" not when not that long ago he gave Dean a, 'Toughen up, cupcake!' speech.

Jared is really pretty. Sam is really pretty. But sometimes Jared has Sam make some really stupid faces and I'm sitting there thinking, 'Why are you donig that? Stop it.'

Where did I know the witch's wife from? Tell me this, please.

I'm assuming that a lot of Old!Dean's huffing and puffing was for comic effect but yeah ... erm, Dean eats a lot of crap sure but he's also in good shape and gets a lot of exercise which I've heard is good for you. I don't know that Old!Dean would really be THAT outta shape. Yanno?

That said, I still kind of want them to keep Old!Dean.

The guy that died at the very beginning ... in what world was he 25? That guy didn't look 25 to me at all and I don't mean the old man he morphed into but before that. Is the actor actually 25?

Does Dean give everyone the, 'I can't do this without you.' speech? Or just every other person?

It's possible I have more babble and/or thoughts but I can't remember them.

Considering how many in-shape health gurus have dropped dead over the years, it's not that surprising. Also, no matter how in shape Dean appears to be, high cholesterol and plaque clogging up arteries show no mercy.

I think he was supposed to have been, because the actor wasn't young enough to appear to be 55. Unless the years changed with the betting during the game and we just didn't see that happen.

And to be married and have a very nice house already...I don't know many 25 year old guys like that.

Dean's had a LOT of heart issues, though, right? Hasn't he gotten electrocuted a lot, too? I forget.

Did you ever watch Dawson's Creek? The guy who played the witch was on there, and he was just yummy and charming. I like him a lot. That said, aww, Doyle.

Does Dean give everyone the, 'I can't do this without you.' speech? Or just every other person?

True story - Dean gave the drive-thru chick at Wendy's the same speech when she told him they were changing the secret formula for the Frosty.

Guy must've gotten lucky with life and abused it when he went to play poker. Asshole. I'm glad he's dead.

Yeah, okay. I'd actually forgotten about that but weren't all those 'problems' magicked away?

I didn't watch Dawson's Creek but I imagine he would be good on a show like that.

OH OH YOU MEAN HE WAS TODD. Dawson's annoying director. LMAO, but you're right he was good in that.

Mayhaps I did like old Dean lots but I do think Kripke took advantage of JP's poker skillz.

Probably not like that but I was reminded of that Bodog Poker thing and kept laughing. LOL. Probably shouldn't have LOL.

Although, I wanted to hug Jim Beaver and that little jig thing Dean did at the end was priceless.

Aw, Glenn Quinn. *moment of silence*

IDK, if you're 80 you're gonna be out of shape a bit no matter what you've done in life.

haha, I was like "how needy is dean, jesus?"

SGA. It was driving me crazy till I had that Eureka moment. She was the wraith-dude McKay was feeling very not disgusted at perving on.

I think the same thing.. it wasn't there way back when, or wasn't annoying maybe.

I don't know that Old!Dean would really be THAT outta shape. Yanno?

Same thoughts! It weirded me out too, like thats how he's going to be? Give me a break.. a burger isn't going to end Dean, even old!Dean!

I don't think it was as noticeable or something. Because sometimes his FAAAAAAAACES are on par with Jensen's FAAAAAAAAACES and Jensen's are pretty freaking ridiculous at times.

I can't remember if you watch Smallville, but she was on a couple eps of that.

'Man, Glenn Quinn would have been perfect in that role if he weren't suffereing from a case of being dead.'

THANKS, SMIDGY, FOR GIVING ME A CASE OF SAD. LOL J/K sorta. But he would have been really good.

I don't know if I've seen the Smallville eps that she's been on. I've only seen up til the middle of S5 so far. But I looked at imdb and I think I know her from this or maybe that. *nods*

I'm sorry. But right? He would've been really really good.

Jared is really pretty. Which is most of what I got from the episode even though I enjoyed it.

I think Bobby has a right to be pissed and upset though. Like, he got paralyzed and they all took off and I'm still wondering how he manages to get around and stuff because clearly no one is helping him out. He must feel so abandoned.

Dean doesn't really eat well and I'm sure if he does live long enough to be 80, all the stress of his life will catch up to him eventually.

Glenn Quinn! :( I was thinking the same.

From: [identity profile] certainthings.livejournal.com
I agree that Bobby does have the right to be pissed/upset whathaveyou but I just don't know if he'd actually say it out loud or even really acknowledge that he was feeling those feelings. I'd be all dandy with the whole thing if he hadn't just given Dean the, 'Toughen up, cupcake.' speech but he did so yeah.

Jared's cheek bones were on display tonight, and they were *fabulous*.

I haven't watched Angel in years, but I had the SAME thought about Glenn Quinn. :(

Does Dean give everyone the, 'I can't do this without you.' speech? Or just every other person?

LOL. I did enjoy his speech, but this made me laugh. Kinda true. My biggest gripe with that scene was the fact that once again Sam inexplicably can't be present for a big family-type moment. Lame.

Of course he can't be. Shortly after Dean gave that speech Bobby said, 'Hey, where'd whatsisface go?' And Dean said, 'Who?'

I'm hoping it's like someone said and he had already started aging before we saw him. And possibly before he ran into the house.

Doesn't Dean only have like, 2 or 3 people he "can't do this without"? So it's not that bad.

And you never know, man. Winchesters could have family history of high blood pressure, high cholesterol, adult diabetes lol. It's not like he's regularly seeing a doctor for physicals. And he does eat bacon 24/7. It's good to see Dean figure out that a salad a week wouldn't hurt.

IKR? Seriously, I was like, "Is that another lone tear I see?" For a guy who claimed , "No chickflick moments!" He sure does have A LOT of them.

From: [identity profile] certainthings.livejournal.com
I was just thinking maybe the 'No chick flick moments' line was trimmed down from the original which was, 'No chick flick moments, Sammy. That's my thing. Back off and get your schtick.'

*nods* Because seriously! Dean has a lot of fucking chick flick moments. A LOT.

I loved the witch, he was awesome. :D

To be fair, Bobby has been pretty much abandoned in that big empty house of his. How the hell does he even manage on his own, anyway? He has a right to be miserable and pissed off.

Um, who has Dean given that speech to apart from Sam? *wracks brain* I guess you could say John but that's about it.

When Bobby was given the speech part of me was thinking, 'Yeah, that sounds right. Sounds good.' but then after I was thinking, '...but would he really have said/thought that?'

Hmm. Maybe it has just been given to Sam but it feels like it's been said more times.
