I watched the trailer for 5x07. I have words to say.

Obviously, I don't know how the whole show is going to play out but uh, just based on the trailer? I vote to keep old!Dean. He was fucking awesome. Regular Dean can uh, come back in a couple of weeks as like a spirit to guide Sam through his journey. Mmmhmm.

Yeah, that's why I said he'd come back as Sam's spirit to guide him through his journey. Sam would see Jensen!Dean so we the audience would too just the others (Bobby, Castiel, etc.) wouldn't see him.
