I just looked at the BB schedule and erm, there's no fic posted on the weekend? What? Why? That is unfair to me and my wanting to devour MOAR FICTIONAL GOODNESS. *pouty face*
EXACTLY. I'm already caught up. I also keep forgetting there isn't any bigbangs on the weekend even though it's ALWAYS been that way. It's a real downer to wait for something that isn't going to happen. Guess I'll have to read a real book. What is the world coming to?
Hee. I dunno. I might give one of the 'gen' fics a try ... I mean, I'll read ones by people I know but when I don't know the writer I don't really care for them, yanno?
I did at the beginning but I don't remember much of what I read and right now I'm thinking that I want to be surprised. Though I might change my mind in the near future.
The Chad/Jared one was actually good? I was very put-off by the pairing but thought maybe I'd read it over like, Fall Weekend or something. Good to know it was...good. lol
I'm a fan of the writer and I also like Chad a lot and I like Jared/Chad as long as it's in the past. If it's present or future (not distant future but yeah) then I'm totally biased toward Jared/Jensen
OH. Oh yeeeah. I had forgotten about that. I'd been sat here, eyeing the clock, thinking to myself 'man today's BB posters are a bit late.' Boo, what am I meant to for the rest of the weeend now?
I can understand WHY obviously BUT DAMN IT it's 8 PM and I have two days free (I got home and slept till 8 PM). I wanna read more but more there ain't which is SAD.
ETA: There's this one here that's a tiny bit late from yesterday but..
*nod* I think I read two I had saved this morning before my exam (and got some odd looks from classmates) but I'm a couple behind including that one and should be caught up tonight so Imma be very 'NEEDS MOAR FIC, PLZ' in a bit even though it makes sense.
Maybe, but your logic makes sense to me even though I understand the other half where people need time to catch up, read more, ect. And if not, just think this gives you a fresh start on Monday, which could be good.
If I weren't so behind on reading what's already been posted, I'd be complaining too. But as it is, I won't even catch up with 2 days off from postings. :P
but it does suck for the people who ARE caught up and just want something to read. :/
You know, I read really fast as it is... but I just haven't had the TIME to just read as much as I want. I finished both thenyxie's and fleshflutter's fics (which were pretty long), but I've been too busy to only read fic all day. lol stupid life, always getting in the way of slashfic :P
Might be their attempt at giving us time to catch up on all the awesome BBs out there. Though I'm still running behind. Also, a life outside LJ? What's that?
Are you all caught up? Any you can recommend? I've read 2 1/2, I'm sooo slow. (sorry about ignoring your pain and trying to use it to advantage. Want me to send you ice cream and puppies Colbert style?)
Thanks :) I already have the first two bookmarked, I read half if thenyxie's and then for some reason I couldn't get myself to keep going. I usually love her writing so I should try again but I completely lost interest. enoughoflove, is that the Jared/Chad one? I don't know how I feel about that pairing, haha, I'm very OTP about J2 and Sam/Dean.
