Not so long ago in an interview when asked about his girlfriend Jensen said something along the lines of, "It feels like two years." or some other combination of words that made it sound like a prison term. (I really didn't care for his choice of words).

More recently Jensen mentioned that he got a call from his girlfriend a couple of years ago saying that she'd bought a puppy and he knew that he was going to have to take care of it.

So, uh ... are they staying together for the sake of the doggie dog? :p

I don't know but it is a bit odd. Though, he's had the girlfriend for a couple of years and just said her name out loud in public.

But even if they split they could still have shared custody of the dog, I was thinking that they didn't want to put him through that. At least not yet.

"I don't think this is working for me anymore." Danneel waves her hand at Jensen.

Her statement is unsurprising, as Jensen is cuddled up to Jared and the two of them are watching...well she doesn't know what but it looks pretty gay.

"Yeah, me either." Jensen shrugs and barely spares her a glance.

Danneel sighs and looks over at the dogs. Icarus has his teeth sunken into Harley's neck while Sadie sits nearby, chewing at a dog toy and ignoring the two of them. Harley's just sitting there, looking almost as dumb as his owner.

"But I think Icarus would miss Sadie and Harley too much if we broke up," Jensen finally says. Jared murmurs his agreement and Danneel tries not to roll her eyes.

"So we're continuing on this sham for the dogs?"

"Pretty much."

Gah--I wish people would stop paying for those things! Yeah, I bought my dog from a breeder, but he's a purebred with actual AKC registration. If you're gonna get a mutt, get one for free at the pound, because it's pretty much the same thing as what some of these yokels are paying hundreds of dollars for.

It's odd, if he had this puppy for so long, you'd think he'd talk about his puppy, even with Jared (who talks about his dogs most of the time anyway). Or Jared mentioning that Jensen has a puppy, who is BFFs with Sadie & Harley. I don't think you would forget mentioning a puppy like that...
