Bottom line is, even if you see 'em coming, you're not ready for the big moments. No one asks for their life to change, not really. But it does. So what are we, helpless? Puppets? No. The big moments are gonna come. You can't help that. It's what you do afterwards that counts. That's when you find out who you are.

This show like never makes me cry, I'm not sure why. When I saw the promo I got a little bit weepy so I thought, 'Ooh, when I watch this ep I bet I'll cry a little. That'll be neat.' But no. I didn't shed a tear. Didn't even get a little bit weepy. Got a little, 'awwish' but yeah. However if this show did make me cry, I'm sure that this ep would've done it.

I'm the same! I cry at everything too. Commercials, movies, kids getting words right at a spelling bee, sad cartoons even, my God. But not this show! I cried ONCE at this show and that was when John died. And basically never again. Ok, sorry for hijacking this thread. But I'm glad someone else is the same way.

I didn't cry when John died because I didn't actually *believe* that they'd kill him off like that. I still think it's one of the stupidest things that's ever happened on the show.

I get that Jeffrey had other places to be but I mean, John wasn't around that much in the first season and he wasn't *dead* Just. Ugh.

Oh, and I too cry at everything also.

I think I believed that John was really dead because Show hadn't established the whole, "kill people and bring them immediately back" thing yet. I hadn't built up a denial wall at that point I guess, just accepted it. :( And yeah, we really needed more John. I call for a flashback episode with John actually in it! *plots to abduct JDM and deliver him to Vancouver*....in a few months.

My Momma never cries at TV shows so I get rather funny looks when I do start crying over TV.Mostly this ep for me was: '*tear*....oh I called it he was hallucinating, glee...you bastard Castiel...oh Dean, you just signed away your freedom, and here I thought you were gonna go all William Wallace and scream that he will never take your Sammy freedom ;/...she eats bb's o.O...*wibble* it hurts' so uh yeah I only cried a bit at the beginning with the hallucinating torture because yeah. And yes, this should've but mostly I was more sort of outraged because of Dean and his issues maybe that's why I didn't cry. But I get it. ;)

Also, me thinks, Castiel had angel on angel violence because people are trying to stop him in which case good. WHACK HIM OVER THE HEAD. I'd have loved to have Ruby done it, but you know, both of them are being so jerked around right now it ain't even funny.

My mom cried at like everything on tv and I used to make fun of her until one day I watched some movie (I'm almost sure it was Beaches) and I cried and it's been downhill ever since.

That scene out in the junkyard between Dean and Castiel was really aggravating. I mean, if Castiel's not allowed to tell Dean anything why even bother showing up? Why not just beam a message into his head? I'm sure he's got the power to do that. Plus? Both of them using their "Batman" voices was fucking annoying.

MAN I KNOW. And he was all "I'd been out here for 2 hours and screamed so I have a sore voice" further more, if he's not allowed to tell Dean things anymore then why did he even bother in the first place why is he just giving Dean advice and manipulating him to fit what he wants? Also, I'm more infuriated that he blindly trusts Castiel when he used to trust Sam the same way, and you're right why can't he just go into his head? That's another manipulation thing right there. HAHA. I thought about you then and I was all "Oh, jezz, they're doing the BATMAN VOICE *smacks head on desk*"

He needs to yell because clearly he refuses to listen to Dean and now instead must hold power over Dean's head reminding him yet again that he doesn't listen to man and he doesn't listen to Dean. Personally I'm not sure which method of him being manipulative I prefer as both of them are degrading. This is of course, perspective and general thinky-ness.
