I used it for a while (both on Mac and PC) and I felt it was slower than FF and Safari, plus it crashed a lot. Sometimes it wouldn't load big, picture heavy sites like LJ properly so that I saw my flist with a lot of red x's where the icons should be. On the PC, I felt that it used a lot of CPU and made the computer slow.
I loved the idea of social features but in the end, I didn't use them a lot. *shrugs*
Oh, I should probably add you can use some FF add-ons with Flock because Flock is based on FF. They tell you that some might be fully compatible and no guarantee yadda, yadda, yadda. Maybe that is part of the reason why it kept crushing so often for me.
When I used Flock, there were special Flock add-ons available but they were all boring and I thought where is the fun of using a browser that supports add-ons but I can't use the fun ones? If you're there for the add-ons, use FF.
