I applied to one of those elite icon communities. Didn't get in, which is kind of what I was expecting but this amused me -

[paraphrased]

Person A: Your cropping is nice, I especially like it on This Particular Icon.

Person B: Your cropping is quite crap, especially on these icons including This Particular Icon.

As soon as I saw the big N I knew I wasn't in which is fine. And I get that cropping is a matter of personal taste, I was just amused that they both said opposite things about the one icon.

I used to get "Your icons are too washed out", "Your icons are too saturated", "I like your colouring", "Your colouring isn't naturalistic" etc. etc. etc.
I just took it all as your stuff is not horrific, but you have alot of work to do -_-"
