out and about
Jul. 11th, 2008 02:28 pmWent out for Chinese food with my aunt and a couple of her friends. There was a monk there (my aunt knew him from somewhere, not sure where - said that his name was Brother John), I was up getting some food and he was there beside me and said "Those are good, aren't they?" I said, 'Yes.' ... So, now. Now, I've been blessed. *nods* Because when a monk (and/or a nun) speak to you it TOTALLY counts as being blessed. Okay, so maybe it doesn't but I'm saying it does.
Brother John was wearing a white robe, which on tv and in the movies they always seem to be wearing brown ones. I kind of wonder what the difference is.

Still, I think it safe to say if you feel you were blessed, then you certainly were. I studied under a Franciscan and that was his personal standard for being blessed. If that makes any difference.
*smishes you 'cuz hasn't seen you online in a coon's age*
