Gubler, who's working with a mutual friend on a small project for the band, says that claim "blew my mind," but it's not true.

According to him Matthew hasn't worn matching socks in 10 years and the one day he did, he sprained his ankle. For awhile on the show they used to make him wear matching socks over top of his mis-matched ones. :)

The bulk of the gen fic is a random big bad kidnapping/raping/torturing Spencer, followed by pages of hand wringing and smarm by the rest of the team, and a paragraph of actual detective work or plot development.

If it's a slash fic, then the story is exactly the same as the gen fic, but Spencer gets over the kidnap/rape/torture through the healing power of someone's cock.

Spencer is always written as a socially retarded six year old.

It makes me so, so sad.
