I agree with everything you've said. Including about the fawn. (I'm starting to wonder if they go through eps of Buffy and see how much they can use before us fans notice)
My heart kinda swelled and threatened to burst when he admitted it to Sam. Oh, Dean... I can kinda get why he feels the way he does. I mean, I have my own issues and some of them relate to his (minus the demons and being pretty and having a Sam), so I get it.

Also, what the crap happened to Bobby's house? How did he let it get into such a shit-poor condition?

On some level, I do get Dean having issues - the same way I get that everyone has issues, but then sometimes I don't.

I'm half a step away from making a list of which character on this show is which one on the other two. I might do that during my next CS class (when the prof is snickering cuz he knows I'm reading slash while he's lecturing).

meh...sometimes I equate shit-poor with just being cluttered and not as shiny as it once was. Like, compare how it was in BUABS and then in this ep...even the boys didn't recognize it at first. Maybe I'm just a nitpicker...

I sometimes think about that too. I mean I can see Buffy-Dean and Dawn-Sam, but then sometimes Dean is kind of like Faith and when he is, Sam's more like Buffy and then I just get confused.

mmhmmmm It's hard to say "okay, Dean is definitely Buffy and Sam is Dawn" because yeah, sometimes one boy is more like another character and confusion ensues. I prefer to think of it on an episode-by-episode basis since there are so few characters on this show compared to Buffy or even Angel. And even then, trying to match up characters is hard because you have to think about whether you're going by actions alone or if you're going to go deeper and go by motivations, thoughts, and the core of the characters in question (we'll not get into season specifics since they evolved a lot over the seasons in Buffy)...

and I know I ramble...so just tell me to 'shut it' if I start going on and on and it's getting annoying/old.

It's an idea I've been kicking around for a week or so now...but I hadn't really thought of doing it since I'm terrified of actually posting something for a fandom. I have this (somewhat) irrational fear of putting all this work into something and then having someone say "yeah, no. That's completely off the mark. Don't ever post again. Loser." Other fandoms have kind of broken me that way...

but if I ever do it, you'll be the first to know. :)
