Logic would have the fangirls be let down after waiting so long with anticipation, but I actually think because everyone loves him so much and that they've invested so much into seeing this that they won't allow themselves not to like it. Plus, it's had stellar reviews (save for mine and Ashlee's). I can't figure out if everyone else who saw it actually liked it or if they just were pleased they were one of the few who actually got to see it?
I can tell you right now my theatre was split. The guys next to us *definitely* didn't like it (we had Meaningful Moments of Eye Sympathy throughout) but the lady next to Ash was hysterically crying she loved it so much. But more than our row, I could feel the slipt in the theatre, if that makes sense.
I really wish I had stayed afterwards to hear the q&a with the producer. It's just, it was so bad and I felt trapped in my seat for about the second half and I wanted to get away before that worker in front of me ask me for my testimonial for lj/myspace. I honestly didn't have anything nice to say and I was so overwhelmed with teh bad that it wouldn't come out as constructive criticism.
