Yeah, well, when I was little I thought I'd grow up to be James Bond and marry Indiana Jones. Somehow it never occurred to me that:

a) I couldn't grow up to be a MAN as I am female, never mind growing up to be Sean Connery

and

b) Indy's probably straight (and, y'know, fictional)

I was there, and it was my first ever fandom con and yeah, I pretty asked myself that same question.

Eek. Love the icon. Sandy and Jared are awesome. She was so sweet and nice and was offstage during his Q&A listening and watching and then during the autograph session she hung out to the side. People were coming up to her asking for autographs too. I asked for a picture, but her PR person or whatever said she wasn't allowed to take any so I just shook her hand and said it was nice to see her supporting Jared and she says, "Always." Very cool people.

And are you fucking serious? God damn. A friend on my flist got her picture taken with Sandy, this when I guess PR type people weren't lurking around. But wow, Sandy wasn't there as an actor, she was there as a girlfriend I'm fairly sure that the people had NO FRIGGIN' RIGHT to tell you and her that a picture couldn't be taken. If Sandy didn't want to, that's up to her but for THEM to say no? Fuck that.

I think the 14-year-old is more annoying than sad. Plus, she still has lots of time to come to her senses. The 40-year-old has time too, but not as much.

Aw, man. Yeah, that sucks for me then. If I had seen her walking her around, then yeah, I would asked then too, but maybe because she was in the same room with the guys and there were no pictures allowed in there that they said no. Oh, well. It was still nice chatting with her.

Ah, I figured. I'll just hafta save my christmas money this year. :D

And ya, that is weird when people actually believe that the actor, etc. will leave their relationships for them. But then again, society is okay with little girls doing it- they just get sort of laughed at and pitied. Whereas if older people worship like that, they can get put in the loony bin. People just need to stay in touch with reality, I think. ;]
