I have the opposite problem where I can never get them to cut off as much as I want. It's like "I want it really short" "Are you SURE?" "Yes." "OK *cuts off 2 inches* how's this?" "Please cut off 5 more inches" "OK *cuts off 1 inch* what do you think? *looks very nervous*" etc..
