Things That Were the Worst:
Dean scratching his cast. That sound! It's the sound that makes me cringe and twitch and punch babies in the face. It's been a couple hours and I'm still twitching. (seriously)
Eugh.

Things That Were Pretty Terrific:
Colin Ford!!! His Sam Winchester is pretty fucking top notch, eh?

Things That Were Meh:
The rest of the bloody episode, man.


This episode felt like it was fanfiction written by a Dean!girl. One of those, "Wincest if you see it." sorts.

I'm wondering if one of the points of this episode was to show us that Poor Lil Sammy's always had a soft spot for demons?

I wasn't surprised when Dean killed Amy Pond but it still upset me. And then the more I thought about, the angrier and angrier I got. Am possibly still getting.

I've seen a few posts mentioning how Dean doesn't trust Sam, and how he went behind his back and such. Which, I hadn't really thought of and well, it just adds very nicely to my raaaaaaaaaaaage.

I'm just so very tired of this stupid BLACK and WHITE world that Dean lives in.

"Maybe a year from now, maybe ten years from now. The other shoe will drop." (paraphrased)

OHMYGOD. Who the fuck cares what happens ten years from now?! Dean, you don't know what's going to happen in TEN YEARS. You don't know if she'll still be alive in ten years.

And to basically kill her in front of her kid? What is wrong with you?! Even just killing her when he knows that she has a young kid, who probably doesn't have anywhere to go.

Oh, man. All these years and Dean still believes Humans = Good / Demons = Bad.

I don't know why it still bothers me, I should be used to it. But alas, I am not and it does.

So in conclusion, Sam should punch Dean in the face and I hope that kid does come after Dean.


ps. Apparently there were references in this episode? I know about the Dr. Who one because I googled Amy Pond after eilan asked why it sounded familiar. It didn't sound familiar to me. But I read in a comment there was a Firefly one and I don't know where it was / what it was.

Oh god I am still full of rage, though it's settled some. I've never hated Dean for ANYTHING before and I just need it to go away. I'm trying to remind myself that it's not Dean's fault he has shitty writers sometimes.

Other references besides Amy Pond included My BloodIEST Valentine when Dean was snoozing in front of the TV, and the cashier dude was wearing a Under the Red Hood shirt.
