You know my emotional rollercoaster with the show, and last night didn't really help. I had NO idea what was going on.
I think the biggest problem is that they're writing the show in singular actions now, if that makes sense. Like.. earlier in the show, it was so quality because they plotted out a story and characters that worked to make one whole, satisfying experience.
Now, from what I saw last night, they keep banking on one or two actors/characters to be really great, playing into fannish stuff, and saying 'fuck the rest'. I REALLY don't understand this Dean. I don't like Sam, who seems like an empty character now. I really wish Castiel had stayed dead. (Though crazy!Beastiel is interesting.)
